Duo Stiehler/Lucaciu brings Abbey Road sound to Hof

On April 9, 2027, Sascha Stiehler and Antonio Lucaciu will perform with their duo Stiehler/Lucaciu at the Freiheitshalle Hof. Their concert blends classical music, jazz, pop, and fine humor into a unique live experience that merges musical virtuosity with playful ease.

Keys, Buttons, and an Extraordinary Stage Sound

Sascha Stiehler creates colorful soundscapes on the piano and synthesizers, while Antonio Lucaciu brings distinct melodies, rhythmic impulses, and pointed musical commentary with his saxophone and vocals. The arrangements thrive on precise synchronization, spontaneous improvisation, and a stage performance that oscillates between concentrated sound art and surprising humor.

The London Sessions: Music with International Shine

At the center are songs from the new studio album and concert film The London Sessions. Recorded in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, the duo's well-known pieces gain a new sonic perspective. Drummer Dominique Gaga Ehlert enriches the Abbey Road versions with dynamic grooves and adds additional rhythmic depth to the interplay.

More than Two Decades of Musical Trust

Sascha Stiehler and Antonio Lucaciu met over 22 years ago at a youth music competition. From this encounter, a close musical partnership developed. Their long-standing experience is evident in a blind, well-coordinated interplay in which every musical impulse is immediately taken up and continued.

The duo has worked, among other things, with the MDR Symphony Orchestra and has released albums such as Kompott geht immer, 7700 Tage, and The London Sessions. The music moves between jazz, modern classical, pop, and improvised music, often telling stories more powerfully through instruments than through words.

Live Atmosphere in the Freiheitshalle Hof

At the Freiheitshalle, the audience can expect a multi-faceted concert experience with warm piano tones, expressive saxophone, electronic textures, and driving drums. The audience's mood emerges from the alternation between lyrical passages, rhythmic energy, and humorous moments. Thus, each song becomes a small sound scene with its own dramaturgy.

Conclusion: A Concert Evening Between Jazz, Pop, and Musical Magic

Duo Stiehler/Lucaciu invites you to an evening in Hof, where musical precision, improvisational joy, and fine humor come together. Anyone wanting to experience a versatile concert with extraordinary orchestration, distinctive sound, and a personal live atmosphere should not miss this performance at the Freiheitshalle.
