Mother Holle brings fairy tale winter to the stage

When Mother Holle shakes out her beds, the snow begins to dance in the Great House of the Theater Hof. The Christmas fairy tale Mother Holle invites children aged four and their families to a heartfelt stage experience full of imagination, humor, and fairy-tale theater atmosphere.

A wondrous journey begins

When the hardworking Marie falls into a well, a mysterious world opens up high above the clouds. There she meets talking apple trees, hungry breads, and the enigmatic Mother Holle. The stage adaptation based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm tells of perseverance, kindness, and the courage to find one's own path.

Fairy-tale staging with plenty of imagination

Jasmin Sarah Zamani takes on the direction and artistic leadership. Together with stage and costume design and lighting by Aylin Kaip, a colorful set is created, where snowflakes, clouds, and the familiar characters of the fairy tale come to life. The dramaturgy connects the clear moral of the Grimm classic with playful humor and direct engagement with the young audience.

Theater for the whole family

The art of acting focuses on great emotions in small, understandable situations: helpfulness, justice, solidarity, and the joy of sharing. Marie faces the tasks of the fairy-tale world with perseverance, while her journey shows that inner strength does not grow from comfort but from one's own actions.
