Anniversary Show at Haflingerhof Luber
25 Years of Haflingerhof Luber: Anniversary Show with 16 Stallions on June 20 in Untermässing
Haflingerhof Luber in Untermässing is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. On this occasion, operator Claus Luber announces an anniversary show for Saturday, June 20, 2026. The event starts at 3 p.m. A program is planned that combines sporting demonstrations, breeding highlights, and show elements centered around Haflinger and Edelbluthaflinger horses.
The focus is on the farm's own horses: Currently, 16 stallions of the Haflinger and Edelbluthaflinger breeds live there. They will be presented in several show acts on the anniversary day—as a showcase of training achievements and at the same time as an insight into the breeding and training work that has shaped the farm's reputation over the years.
According to the organizer, friends of equestrian sports, breeder and show colleagues, business partners, and horse-enthusiastic visitors are invited. In addition, guests from all over Germany as well as from neighboring Netherlands and Austria are expected. This gives the event a supraregional character, which is not a given for farms of this size.
Wide-ranging Program: from Dressage Work to Multiple Harnesses
A deliberately broad mix is announced for the anniversary show: dressage work, horses over jumps, "breeding delicacies," and various harnesses from single to multiple teams. Especially the range from ridden parts to driving sports aims for versatility—and at the same time requires a high level of routine in training, horse management, and event planning.
Above all, the announced multiple harnesses are considered demanding in driving sports, as they require precise teamwork of several draft horses, clear commands, and safe control. Such scenes are impressive not only because of size and speed, but also because of discipline: A team only becomes truly impressive when rhythm, obedience, and line guidance work even with noise and an audience.
The day will also be complemented by a supply mile. In addition, exhibitors are announced who will offer equipment and accessories related to horses—a framework that expands the character of a pure demonstration into a meeting point for the scene, breeding, and the public.
Experience from Large Arenas—and the Aspiration to Show Something Special
Claus Luber and his stallions are associated in the announcement with appearances at major formats and events, including Cavalluna and the horse musical "Ben Hur." Other stations mentioned are Equitana, Pferd International in Munich, the Tarmstedt Exhibition, CHIO Aachen, as well as stallion parades at state studs such as Celle, Marbach, and Schwaiganger. Such formats stand for tight schedules, changing arenas, and high demands on the reliability and nerves of the horses—qualities that should also become visible in a different form at the anniversary show at the home farm.

Luber clearly states his own aspiration in a statement: "Anyone who knows me as a show driver and horse trainer knows that I don't do things by halves, so you can look forward to an extraordinary anniversary show with excitement."
With the date, scope, and focus on its own stallion stock, the anniversary show is designed as a major public presentation for the 25th anniversary of Haflingerhof Luber—with the aim of bringing together training, breeding, and driving sports in Untermässing in a continuous narrative on one afternoon.
