Depeche Mode is an English synth-rock and synth-pop band. The name is borrowed from a French fashion magazine called Dépêche Mode. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, the group is one of the most successful bands in the world. The magazine Q referred to Depeche Mode as 'The most popular electronic band the world has ever known' and included the band in their list of 50 Bands That Changed The World!
