LaBrassBanda

LaBrassBanda is a brass band hailing from Übersee by Lake Chiemsee, led by vocalist and trumpeter Stefan Dettl. The band's name is a portmanteau of the Italian 'la banda' and the English 'brass band,' both of which translate to 'brass band' in German. Their music falls under the genre of New Folk Music, and they describe their sound as Bavarian Gypsy Brass, Funk Brass, or Alpine Jazz Techno. During performances, the musicians always wear lederhosen and perform barefoot.
