The Artists: Talent Meets Experience
Under the direction of Christian Zacharias, the Hof Symphony Orchestra presents a concert that highlights the youthful joy and extraordinary talent of Johannes Brahms. Brahms' Serenade No. 2 in A major, Op. 16, and Serenade No. 1 in D major, Op. 11, showcase the diversity and richness of his work.
The Live Experience: Atmosphere and Acoustics
The Freiheitshalle in Hof offers excellent acoustics and an inviting atmosphere that makes the concert an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sounds of the wind instruments, which are particularly prominent in Brahms' Serenade No. 2.
Musical Highlights
The program includes, in addition to the two serenades, Robert Schumann's Introduktion und Allegro appassionato, Op. 92, a passionate work that illustrates the close connection between Brahms and Schumann. Christian Zacharias will shine as both soloist and conductor in this piece.
