Promenade Concert: Hannes Wölfel

Experience Hannes Wölfel live at the music pavilion at Theresienstein!

Hannes is a musician through and through. When he’s not performing solo on stage or working on new songs at home, he teaches music and performs as a singer with the acoustic formation “play again sam.” International songs from 40 years of music history are reinterpreted, but never distorted or misrepresented. Every facet is utilized, using voice, guitar, and loop station. Sometimes you hear a “small band,” a “full orchestra,” and then again just voice and guitar. Hannes's cheeky and cheerful style is infectious, turning every listener into a “participant”!

In addition, you can occasionally hear original material from his albums “Unterwegs” and the EP “Stück für Stück zum Glück.” German songs in a singer/songwriter style, sometimes very personal, sometimes cheerful, but always with a lot of Hannes. And of course, the “Glücksong - Stück für Stück zum Glück,” with which Hannes won the Lottomusicaward 2019.

Admission is free! The long-time restaurateurs Klaus Schaller and Stefan & Bärbel Scherdel will take care of your culinary needs. They also run the summer restaurant at Theresienstein together every Sunday and holiday this summer. The menu features regional products. City Tour Hof - Romantic Stone

Discover the romantic Theresienstein in Hof!

The Theresienstein stretches its feelers deep into the city center, enticing visitors with green meadows, avenues, and ancient trees, pavilions, and ponds. A gently winding network of paths leads through groves and along the edges of meadows, always under the protection of trees. Along the tranquil paths and avenues, new garden scenes unfold time and again. Charming sightlines open up to sculptures, fountains, and decorative buildings, extending far beyond the park's borders into the surrounding area. Particularly, the panoramic view of the lower Ludwigstraße up to the town hall enchants visitors in the southern part of the facility.

Thanks to continuous expert care, the Theresienstein has not changed much since its inception. Following a so-called park maintenance plan, the typical features of a classic English garden are preserved, and many historical elements have been restored. Gather sensory impressions with our guides in one of Germany's most beautiful parks.

Registration at the Tourist Information is desired at Tel. 09281/815-7777 or touristinfo@stadt-hof.de.

A large wonderful park with a fortress and a tower. A must-visit when in Hof. We stayed at the Quality Hotel and walked to the park and back, the walk was very pleasant. It was the end of winter, so the streets were almost empty. You have to walk a bit to reach the fortress, and we had to ask for directions after entering the park. This park is considered one of the best in Sri Lanka.

The park is not far from the city center of Hof, it's a pleasant walking path to visit, and you can see the church from the park. Especially in the fall (I was there in October and November), the view is so beautiful.
