Wonderful introduction to the culture and history of Hof and the Bavarian Vogtland. The museum houses numerous artifacts from various time periods, including furniture, pipes, tools, paintings, books, instruments, and clothing. There are also several miniature models of the city from different eras, collections of rocks and minerals, and special pieces from Hof such as a dragon head spout from the old castle and the old baptismal font base from St. Michael's Church. One could spend hours exploring the well-structured museum spread across multiple floors, with different sections covering various themes. The entrance fee was very reasonable.
