Promenade Concert: Assiko Free
<p><strong>An unforgettable promenade concert with Assiko Free!</strong></p> <p>ASSIKO FREE is a band from France made up of four friends who live their passion for music. The formation started in the 80s and, despite career changes, they always come together for rehearsals and special performances. These concerts are often organized for friends, but at the promenade concerts, visitors get to enjoy the music as the musicians travel to Hof to perform for their long-time friend, Peter Nürmberger, the cultural director of Hof, on his retirement.</p> <p>The band's music blends the rhythms of Cameroon, the original homeland of bandleader Simon, with a touch of pop, rock, and sentimental ballads. Whether in front of a large audience or privately among friends, Simon, Mich, Francois, and Franck always play with heart and in a spirit of freedom.</p> <p>Admission is free! The long-time restaurateurs Klaus Schaller and Stefan & Bärbel Scherdel will provide culinary delights, operating the summer restaurant at Theresienstein together on sunny Sundays and holidays. The menu features regional products, Hof beer, coffee and cake, as well as changing dishes like stews, vegetarian options, snacks from “Hofer Allerei,” grilled sausages and steaks, roasts, and dumplings on Sundays, plus everything a beer garden heart desires. Opening hours are Sundays and holidays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.</p>

<p><strong>CELEBRATE AT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH ON THE SAAL</strong></p> <p>The popular Saaleauen Festival takes place on the second weekend of August. This multi-day festival along the banks of the Saale, just below the old town, transforms into a unique celebration with a beach, beach bar, and various live music performances. In the evening, the river is illuminated by water displays and impressive light settings. There’s also something for every culinary taste. We kick off on Thursday with the opening of our newly designed DJ area. On Sunday, we’ll add even more fun with a free family day. Inner Courtyard Concerts | Köditz

The Inner Courtyard Concerts are hosted today in Köditz, inviting you to celebrate in three different courtyards and enjoy the diversity of music.</p> <h3>The Artists: Talent Meets Experience</h3> <p>At Postgasse 6, you will be entertained by the band <strong>Mittendrin im Zweitakter</strong>, who will captivate the audience with their mix of rock and pop. At Uferstraße 2, <strong>Bogeymen</strong> will bring nostalgic sounds with rock and oldies, while <strong>Dreiklang</strong> at Rosenstraße 20 will heat up the atmosphere with party songs, hits, and oldies.</p> <h3>The Live Experience: Atmosphere and Acoustics</h3> <p>The Inner Courtyard Concerts offer a unique atmosphere, enhanced by the charming courtyards of Köditz. <p><strong>Experience the Schwarzenbach Settlers' Festival 2025 – a celebration for the whole family!</strong></p> <p>On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the festival kicks off at 5 PM with a diverse program. From 6:30 PM, the band “BOGEYMEN” will create a lively atmosphere with music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Their outstanding choral singing will delight the audience.</p> <h3>The Program: Artists and Activities</h3> <p>On Sunday, August 10, 2025, the festival starts early at 2 PM. There will be a special afternoon for seniors as well as a children's program. From 5 to 9 PM, the band “RÜSCHERL-MUSE” will entertain guests with traditional alpine dances and original compositions. On Monday, August 11, 2025, the festival resumes at 5 PM, and from 6:30 PM, the band “TWO PARTS” will enchant visitors with heartfelt songs from four decades.</p> <h3>The Festival Experience</h3> <p>The Schwarzenbach Settlers' Festival offers a unique sense of community that brings together young and old. <p><strong>Experience Hannes Wölfel live at the music pavilion at Theresienstein!</strong></p> <p>Hannes is a musician through and through. When he’s not performing solo on stage or working on new songs at home, he teaches music and performs as a singer with the acoustic formation “play again sam.” International songs from 40 years of music history are reinterpreted, but never distorted or misrepresented. Every facet is utilized, using voice, guitar, and loop station. Sometimes you hear a “small band,” a “full orchestra,” and then again just voice and guitar. Hannes's cheeky and cheerful style is infectious, turning every listener into a “participant”!</p> <p>In addition, you can occasionally hear original material from his albums “Unterwegs” and the EP “Stück für Stück zum Glück.” German songs in a singer/songwriter style, sometimes very personal, sometimes cheerful, but always with a lot of Hannes. And of course, the “Glücksong - Stück für Stück zum Glück,” with which Hannes won the Lottomusicaward 2019.</p> <p>Admission is free! <p><strong>Experience an unforgettable promenade concert with Kickstarter!</strong></p> <p>Kickstarter consists of Mechthild Mühl (congas, percussion, vocals), Claudia Sichert-Gräbner (vocals, percussion), Carola Nüßel (accordion), Hence Bauer-Härtel (vocals, cajon, percussion), Norbert Litwinschuk (guitar, vocals), and Markus Schnabel (e-piano, organ, guitar). They traverse decades of carefully selected rock music. According to them, pure covering isn’t their thing – they prefer to put their own groove on more or less well-known classics.</p> <p>The rock-bluesy to soulful-funky spectrum, with influences from folk and Americana, ranges from the trip-hop of “Massive Attack” to the gritty post-punk of “The White Stripes,” from Otis Redding's soul ballads that give you chills to classic hits from “Creedence Clearwater,” the “Doobie Brothers,” or the “Rolling Stones.” Listeners can expect plenty of harmony singing, solid rocking, occasionally a heart-wrenching ballad, officially distorted solos, and a passion for improvisation.</p> <p>Admission is free!
